Sierra has a set of Pokemon that she uses during battles. Her first Pokemon is a Shadow Squirtle, and she can use any of the other Pokemon to fill the rest of her party. She changes the Pokemon in her party every time she encounters a new enemy, but her lineup will remain the same for rematches within a single encounter. Sierra is weak to Electric, Fighting, and Fairy, but has many other weaknesses and a few counters to match.
The best Pokemon to use against Sierra are ones that have Fast Attack and/or Charged Attack. Both of these attacks must match Sierra’s type, so you should try to select Pokemon that have those abilities. This way, you’ll be able to take advantage of the same-type attack bonus.
Sierra is one of the three team leaders in Pokemon Go. She appears in Team Rocket Balloons and at PokeStops. She also makes appearances alongside other Team Rocket members, like Giovanni. Unlike Giovanni, Sierra is a more persistent player in the game, so this means that she will be in your lineup a lot longer than Giovanni does. If you’re not sure how to use Sierra’s Pokemon, be sure to check out our guide for tips on how to beat her team.
Sierra’s second Pokemon might be a Blastoise. Blastoise is a Water-type Pokemon, and its weaknesses are Electric and Grass. The best counters for this type of Pokemon are Mega Venusaur, Leafeon, and Houndoom. Sierra’s final Pokemon is Flygon.
Sierra’s Flygon has a Dragon Tail and Mud Shot as fast moves. It can deal a lot of damage against Dragon-types, but is weak against Electric, Rock, and Grass-types. She is also vulnerable to Squirtle attacks.
Aside from that, this month also includes Team GO Rocket Leaders. Sierra will fight against Team GO Rocket Leaders from February 4 to February 9. Currently, these are the same Pokemon as in January. However, these leaders are likely to change in March. Then again, the Shadow Pokemon teams will use the same Pokemon as Sierra did in January.
Sierra’s Pokemon lineup will be updated in October 2022. Her lineup is expected to feature more new Pokemon that are hard to defeat. In the meantime, she will remain a tough opponent in the AR world. If you’re not prepared for it, you’ll have to rely on your best Pokemon counters and movesets to make the best use of your time.
Team GO Rocket Leaders are more difficult than their predecessors, but with enough skill and shrewd strategy, they’re not impossible to beat. And you’ll be rewarded for defeating them if you’re equipped with a Rocket Radar or Super Rocket Radar. They will appear once every six hours.
